Just when it seemed like “American Idol” diva-in-training Candice
Glover was starting to tighten her grip on the season title, early
frontrunner Angie Miller came powering back tonight, eager to pry the
assumed win from Candice’s grasp.
As the Top 4 sang three songs each — a song of their choice, a
one-hit wonder and a duet — the girl with the big Massachusetts smile
ran the show, besting her competitors each time.
By the end of the night, the judges agreed — this was Angie’s night.
The race to the finale continues and as Candice and Angie battle over who’s to be named top dog, Amber Holcomb and Kree Harrison delivered good-to-mediocre performances that might leave them in trouble in Thursday night’s elimination.
